Many good days

Hello everyone!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful valentine's day whether you celebrated it with someone you love or alone enjoying some time to yourself. I had a wonderful holiday and spent it with my boyfriend. He made me dinner Sunday night (salmon, crab cakes, and rice) because he had work all day Monday, and I took him out for dinner on Monday. I skipped my Monday class so I could go get my hair cut and do a few other errands because I also made flaming strawberry cupcakes. I'll post a pic later because they came out really well. But I got all dressed up and he brought me some flowers (not roses tho, cuz that's what everyone does for v-day and he wanted me to know I'm special...not the same as everyone else) and a cute card. We went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner and it was super yummy. I have leftovers in the fridge to eat for dinner tonight.

Today has been yet another great day. I went to my first class this morning (boring as usual, but we got out a bit earlier than we normally do), then I went to lunch with my mom, grandma, and my grandma's friend Barb while my mom was getting some new tires put on her truck. We had chinese and it was yummy, and I have leftovers once again. They will probably be my lunch tomorrow. But when I came home and checked my school email, I found a letter about my financial aid award being updated at school. I went to check it out and found I had more state money added to my account for both semesters, so I will be getting another $1,000 very shortly. It will be a good addition to my savings account.

I really want to go out and celebrate. I've been so fortunate to have had such luck for the last couple of days. I want to share a little of my joy with everyone else and hope everyone is having great days as well.

Oh, and next week is my spring break for school! I'm really looking forward to it because it means I will have a couple days that I can spend with friends. I just have to make sure I get all of the work done this week that I need to...
